EGGBOY WILL CONNOLLY is the new superhero of the Internet

WILL CONNOLLY is the 17 year old Australian who has been crowned as the new superhero by the Internet after smashing an egg on Australian Senator Fraser Anning.

The Australian Senator has drawn criticism from the world for his speech against the Muslim community after the Christchurch mass-murder. The death-toll being 50 so far, is one of the deadliest terrorist attacks in the history of New Zealand.

Anning holds up a long reputation about anti-immigrant and racist views. He called Islam a “Savage Faith,” the followers “Muslim Fanatics” and blamed the event on Muslim immigrants on the same day the event occurred. This is what Mr. Fraser’s statement looked like.

On Saturday the 16^th, when Anning was speaking to reporters in Melbourne, the 17 year old Will Connolly smashed an egg on his head in-front of the cameras. The Senator punched the boy in the face and was getting ready for another before Will got pinned down by a group a men.

The live feed quickly went viral through the internet and became the top trending news all over twitter and facebook with #eggboy. The young boy tweeted and claimed himself to be the EGG BOY. People were quicker to show him support in various ways. Audience expressed their support for Will and at the same time were furious about the young boy being pinned and held by a bunch of strong big men.

Reporters from The Age and Channel Ten appealed to the Anning supporters to release the boy, who was being held down. Will was held by the police before being released without being charged. Authorities are investigating and the public wants that charges are pressed against the Senator for punching Will.

His facebook and Instagram account were getting flooded with messages and getting shared all around the social media. Will also tweeted a clip of himself where said what he learned form his experience: “Don’t egg politicians and get tackled by 30 bogans at the same time. I learnt the hard way.” (For non-Australians, a “bogan” is another way of saying “trailer trash” or low-class person.)

Egg Boy’s fans have started a crowdfunding at GoGundMe for his legal fees and for buying more eggs. The initial target was $2000 for the fundraiser but it has already crossed $43000 and looking to go higher. Different lawyers have tweeted and showed interest to represent Egg boy’s case in the court if he agrees for free as a token of appreciation.

Another video went viral as Anning was heckled at the airport. The man taking the video was shouting “do you have any fucking remorse?” and “you are senator of Australia, you are representator of Australia, but you are a f***ing s**t c**t.” It Is not clear from the video what exactly happened but the Senator was seen to walk away silently.
