Your worrying habit will kill you, not literally, but mentally. You can never appreciate what’s in store for you today if you can’t stop worrying about tomorrow. Whatever you are addicted to, take hold of yourself. Believe it or not but your addictions hold you from loving a carefree life. Take steps to conquer them. Lastly, remove their influence from your life completely.

 

Balancing Past, Present and Future

It’s good to learn from the past and think about the future at times. It’s important to understand sometimes that where would you be if you aren’t where you are today. And it’s essential to prepare yourself for the future.

However, it’s healthy only to spend some time thinking about your past and your future, but not most of your time. You need to focus more on your present. The key is to balance these thoughts about past, present and future. Overthinking about them causes negative thoughts to arise in your life. But keeping a balance among them does help in staying happy and healthy.

Although it’s hard to say what’s the right balance, you will figure it out yourself once you start to worry less, experience lesser stress on an everyday basis and find yourself living in the present most of the time.

The bottom line is, stop chasing things and people. It’s both mentally and physically exhausting. Instead, make peace with whatever comes to you and goes from you. Don’t put in so much effort trying to save something that in the meantime, you lose yourself!
