T-SERIES Became the First YouTube Channel to Cross 100 Million Subscribers

The news to start with is that T-Series is the first YouTube channel to reach 100 million subscribers. Congratulations to T-series for pulling off this amazing feat.

We all know how influential YouTube is in the current times but this achievement right here is a history in the making in our digital age.

At approximately 10am GMT or 6am EST on the 29th of May, 2019, T-Series crossed the milestone. They acknowledged the achievement in their social media accounts by putting the following YouTube banner and thanking their followers.

T-Series is a music record label in India and film production company registered with the name of Super Cassettes Industries Private Limited. It is primarily known for producing Bollywood soundtracks. It was founded in 1983 and since then it came a long way and currently occupies the throne of India’s largest music record label. During January-July in 2018 T-series revenue from YouTube only was $100 million.

PewDiePie the 2nd most subscribed YouTube channel was behind by 4,000,000 subscribers when T-Series reached the 100,000,000 milestone. However, PewDiePie started a heated-up rivalry with T-Series in August 2018, back when PewDiePie was ahead in terms of subscribers.

While we congratulate T-Series, the question remains that will YouTube create a new play button for this achievement superior than the Ruby? When will PewDiePie catch up? Will we witness another feat soon? Let us wait and watch.
