5 Feel Good Movies to Cheer You Up!

Movies can be second named as a therapy to anxiety and depression many times. Some movies are so effortless at doing this that their genre should be called “Feel Good”. Here are 5 of my favorite Feel Good movies that are heavenly.

  1. The Holiday (2006)

This 2006 Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz starrer is a Women’s Day celebration in the truest sense. How these two women from different continents of the world connect with each other and experience each other’s lives is how the story unfolds. The milieu and aesthetics of the movie make the soothing and pleasant journey even better. This movie is a perfect Slice-of-life piece. I can bet it will make you feel amazingly good while and after watching this.

  1. Coco (2017)

This 2017 animation movie of a young boy’s journey has a lot of drama going on with deep emotions and tears but it just builds a very serene and happy feeling inside, especially the depth of the story makes you giddy with joy by the end. It will touch your heart and move you for sure.

  1. Zootopia (2016)

Another great animation movie with incredible comedy and laughter written all over it. A metaphor of how humans dwell on this planet is beautifully depicted in this brilliant movie. The energy of the fun characters will transpire to you for sure and not only will this movie tickle your funny bones but will surely cheer you up.

  1. Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011)

This Ryan Gosling and Steve Carell starrer is an extremely hilarious and super-fun chick flick that is high on romance and emotions too. How a Casanova gets too involved in helping out a friend’s marriage crisis is what creates this roller-coaster ride with a loving touch. Besides the comedy and pinch of drama, this movie is also supremely sweet. A Feel-Good too good for sure.

  1. Stuart Little 1,2 and 3

At the risk of sounding super clichéd, I cannot resist but THIS has to be the best Feel-Good movie ever. Any one of the parts or binge watching all three, which would be a dream weekend to be honest with ice cream, is just too good to be true. This movie needs no introduction. Wears its heart on it sleeves just like the titular character, the witty rat, Stuart; this movie is a classic for a reason.
