Fashion is all about experimenting and improvising. It is a canvas of open art. However, we all agree about some things that look right and some things that look FAR from right! Among many of these, there are some basic fashion acts that are considered disasters by most people. And this is simply because it does not look good. So, here are 5 of the fashion statements that turn out disasters most of the time unless you are LADY GAGA who can pull off everything with panache or unless you are attending MET GALA 2019.

1. All Prints Is A NO NO

A printed top with a printed bottom is a vision that can give many people a migraine. Polka dotted T-shirt with a stripped pant will usually be a fashion disaster. So too much prints is definitely a No No.

2. Loud EYE And LIP Makeup

Bold lip color with an even darker eye makeup is mostly a total disaster. A smoky eye makeup suits nude lips and with a bold lip color, a lighter eye shadow compliments well. Going extra on both your eyes and lips can make you look like a clown on a circus for sure.

3. Oversized Earrings Paired With Necklaces

Unless you are dotting a Saree, Anarkali or attending a wedding, pairing oversized earrings along with a necklace screams “Disaster”. As they say “Less is more.” It is always great to stick to that.

4. Silver and Gold Mix-match

Mix and match is always a key to great fashion appearances, but mixing up silver and gold jewelry does not always turn out to be chic or unique. In fact, most of the time, it looks mismatched! Either go all silver or all gold except when you have a special ring to show off !

5. Color Block

Although color blocking is highly trending currently, most people go wrong trying it out. And if color blocking does not turn out right, it becomes a fashion tragedy undoubtedly. So, if you’re not sure you can pull off a Pink Top with Red Pants, just go with something less risky like denim or white pants with your pink top.

Although all the above-mentioned fashion disasters are to be avoided, it is always fun to experiment in fashion. Being a girl with a bohemian fashion taste, I believe nothing can be a disaster if you can pull it off.
