5 Budget-Friendly Ways To Propose To Your Partner this Valentine’s Day

With Valentine’s Day approaching near, many of you must be planning to propose to your beloved partners with “Will You Marry Me?” or “Will You Be Mine?” etc. So, without beating around the bush, I have listed down five interesting and budget-friendly ways to do it.

  1. Candlelit Proposal

Relax! It is not a candle light dinner for two with the ring hidden in the dessert. As traditionally romantic that is, it is also very clichéd. What my idea is, a room or balcony, basically any closed space where wind can be controlled with small candles spread out, spelling “Will You Marry Me?” on the floor. It is as simple as it sounds. All you will need is a lot of candles. It is not necessary to get one similar kind of candles only. Trust me, when lit up, they all will look gorgeous and in unity. You can get different kinds as long as they all stand stiff without falling down. Just make sure the candles have a stable surface area to stand on since they will be lit up, it can be a little risky. So be very careful and blow them away as soon as you are done proposing.

  1. Proposal By Post

A little old school but inconceivably romantic and unexpected. This is something that will surely be a surprise to your partner. Write a beautiful love letter, proposing her at the end of it or get a flashy card that says “Will You Marry Me?” Try to make it personal by writing your thoughts and hopes for being together forever and then send it to your partner by post. Yes! Your partner will receive it like the other mails and be pleasantly exhilarated.

  1. A Musical Proposal

If your partner is somebody who is immensely inclined towards music or you two have a lot of songs that speak your hearts out, then this could be an apt way of proposing for you. Make a playlist of some of your partner’s favorite songs. Make sure the songs are all romantic or even better if they speak what you want to say. At the end of the songs, attach your voice clip asking your partner to marry you. If you like singing, you could even sing a little bit making it funny.

  1. Sunrise Proposal

The common thought is a sunset proposal but what I have in mind is a sunrise one. Take your partner out for a walk at dawn by the beach if you have access to one. Make sure your partner is not aware of your agenda. Make it casual like a random beachside breakfast you want to indulge in. You can arrange for a breakfast basket along with you. Eat and relax by the beach and wait for the sunrise moment. Just when the golden smile starts popping in, take out your ring and PROPOSE!

  1. Jigsaw Proposal

This is one of the coolest and most exciting ways to propose. It can be little bit of a work to put up for you but it is for the most special day, so buckle up! For this, you have to make the environment seem normal to your partner and not out of the blue. So you can organize an intimate gathering or party with your close friends or relatives. Or simply a board games night. Arrange for games to be played, at least three different games like a dart completion, Never Have I Ever or Chinese Whispers and the last game to be played will be making puzzles in a given time. There will only be one puzzle and that will be a “Will You Marry me?” puzzle. You can buy these online, custom made also. Convince your partner to make that puzzle figuring out what it is while making it and once it is done, you stand there with the ring on your knees.

In simple words, try to choose a place that has a personal connection between you too and try to speak you heart out. The more genuine your proposal is, the more intimate and sweet your gesture will blossom into.
