5 Types of Food Items for a Healthier Diet

  1. Yogurt

Plain, non-flavored yogurt is a lifesaver when it comes to a healthy diet meal. It is a go-to for salad dressing or simply as a sauce for your main meal whether chicken or any other meat. Yogurt is high on vitamin and super healthy. You can cook your stir-fry with yogurt or marinate your meat with it and then cook. It tastes great and oozes health benefits.

2. Green Chili

Not for everyone if you are one of those who cannot tolerate a chili. However, I am not saying you need to chew a whole green chili to be healthy. You can put it in a cooked meal with other spices or use it in salads as well. Green chili is extremely healthy with Vitamin C that is beneficial not only for cutting down the fat but also in many other health-related ways.

3. Ginger

This might sound a little weird but Ginger in any form of paste or raw or as a juice is extremely healthy. I personally use ginger paste in my cooking. It gives a flavorful touch to any dish and ginger paste is also easily available in stores. If you are trying to adapt to a healthier diet, ginger can be an apt form of food to look out for.

4. Cucumber

Cucumber is a popular salad entity and surely a must one. It has health perks and so is tasty raw, which is rare. So, just chewing a cucumber as a snack works if you are too lazy to prepare a snack like me. Yes, cucumber lets you lazily work towards being fit.

5. Green Apple

An apple a day keeps a doctor away. The saying says it all but Green apple says it more vehemently. Green apple keeps health bugs away. Green apple is great for making a type of sauce called Chutney, which is a sumptuous side to any dish.

Not promising to be any health or food expert, the above listed food items have been of great benefit to me personally and I have seen the wonderful outcome of including them in my food diet. Make sure you are not allergic to any of them and try them for a healthier lifestyle.
